Due to the Consignment Shop closure and cancelled events from Covid19, we currently are not accepting Formal Funding Applications for 2021. However, we are focusing on site visits throughout San Diego County to understand how Covid19 has also effected our agencies.
The Country Friends Art of Fashion runway show and luncheon, presented in partnership with South Coast Plaza, has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The nonprofit will instead hold an online auction of luxe fashion and accessories, exclusive travel getaways, and more from October 10-16 to raise crucial community funds.
Who We Are
Formed in 1954 to fulfill a need of “Helping San Diegans, One Hand At a Time.” The Country Friends® actively seeks out members and sponsors, owns and operates a Consignment Shop, and hosts events to raise funds for local human care agencies.
Who We Fund
The Country Friends funds many San Diego agencies each year that offer preventative programs, self-improvement and/or job training programs, as well as medical facilities with special equipment needs.

Membership is an important source of funds for The Country Friends, as a member you will receive invitations to all of our events including Member only events such as The Spring Membership Luncheon and the Holiday Tea.
